Background & objectives: Organizational commitment of nurses involves a set of attitudes related to activities in order to create, maintain and expand effectiveness and efficiency. In this regard, implementation of organizational commitment of nurses is of great importance in preserving and extending this ethical behavior among nurses of society. Therefore, this research aims to identify the main elements of implementation of organizational commitment of nurses in health centers and to represent them in the form of a conceptual model.
Methods: The exploratory (qualitative -quantitative) mixed research method was used to identify the main attitudes governing the organizational commitment of nurses.
Results: Findings showed that six variables of professional ethics, job satisfaction, job enrichment, quality of work life, job stress and goals were the main dimensions of mental health affecting organizational commitment.
Conclusion: Professional ethics, job satisfaction, job enrichment, quality of work life, job stress, and goals are the main elements of implementation of organizational commitment in nurses. |
